Pretty good question.Sometime happens that sombody has created an app for mobile or other one platform that has added value for other people. For that reasons there are lots of startups groups which supports these kind of new projects. But true is that for the big success of your exellent app you need to have bigger support to propagate the project and also lots of money to cover expensive server infrastructure and other technology. And also most likely to have some other contracts with other companies to integrate your app with other systems like transports, hospitals, banks, entertainments and lots of others. For big success you need to have great idea or lots of money:) I would say.

Large companies often have the marketing and other resources to convert the creations of individuals or groups into profitable products. Whether the original creators of the product get adequately compensated probably depends on the company and/or circumstances.

maybe because of deals from big corps , like how beats was bought by apple for a billion dollars. Take this example to a smaller scale. smaller programmers have little to low views or insight to thier apps so they might need an availible platform to showcase their which can be through asissting a company with their app or finding a company as a platform for their work. Its marketing I guess

Multi million dollar apps are not written by a single person, nor are they tested and debugged by one lone soul either. Usually there is a team involved, sometimes several teams. Could you imagine what it would do to write billions of interlocking code to produce on operating system that is flexible enough to run on many types of computers, interface with countless apps, be "Reasonably" resistant to exploits (yeah, I know) and not have there head explode.

Usually most big apps require a team of people and a lot of funding
