A web developer as a freelancer

Question

Guys, is web coding (html,cds,JavaScript,..) useless nowadays due to Wordpress and things like it ?
As a person who wants to be a freelancing web developer is it a bad idea because many people say that no one looks now for hand coded pages they all do their own with wix and other?
Please guys advise me I don’t want to do something useless and time consuming?❤️

Its not useless bro because wordpress make you like to be make you like an box you can't think outside of the box like that you can't make complex websites with it if you want to make like that an just simple page wordpress is good but as an making high desing and dynamic page you have to learn basics of html , CSS , Javascript , Jquery ,Php ,Python to make a website like that you want and what you think how much websites there are in now ? Not just thousands , lakh its are in Billions so what do you think for ranking in upto top pages how much you have to learn and practise alot because millions of pages are already available so just an wordpress dont make you on that rank :) because these apps are also made of that language so its on you how much you learn like SEO ,Google ads etc

Majd Alkwaja why do you think its just an option as free lancer there are lot of more options also like if you have bussiness ideas you can start your business on websites also but firstly you have to learn how to buy domains , hostings and how to connect them firstly you have to do practical on your own think like business when you have free time try to put on that ads so you can learn how to earn also from there are not just limited options out there for income there are lot but you have acquire these skills did you try in your neighbourhood shops also that just tell them you are an website maker and I will make you an website for you do firstly free for them if your work is good dont you think they will recommend you to others so there are huge options whichever you want you can choose that also .....

It will not go waste if you are learning something bro because there are lot of which you can't do with wordpress also you can do that with frontend and backend languages but if you use wordpress also with these languages you can see properly how things are working properly and as you thinking of freelancer if you know also you have to give some money to them also as an start up so they can provide you more clients also so everywhere you have needed some startup to start but you can do blogging etc also as you are now in high school because they don't require money and if you are learning something I can say try to research about these things properly because internet is an biggest source of information see what are the new ways to do that job as if you are thinking to freelancer try to search youtube videos where there are lot of courses for it like where they teach you how to work on freelancer websites (udemy , Courseera) .... happy learning :)

Majd Alkwaja I don't think so lets take example when you are in college you take participate in lot of activities why ? Because you try everything and see what your interest in it and if you know your interest so you do more work in it and you can build your lot of confidence also from there simply do same thing apply here try to do for 1 or 2 month and see do you love to code or not if you get interest in it then simply continue or if not then leave it ( No carrier has scope its an just myth Scope creates from that person how he do that work ) So see your passion interest and then choose what you want to do its on you what you want and where you see your passion so do that things .....🙏

this is not the posint, i am still in high school and i want to do sth when i am in college and working as a freelancer i think is the best way because i still do not have experience in life.
so i want to earn money in college is it a good idea to learn web development i finished html and i got the basic of css?
but after i knew about wordpress i felt like that my plan destroyed.
