What lessons should I focus on?

I am using java, a beginner at everything and I want to to build a gaming AI, that stores information and suggests new info the idea is to build a construct who's main function is centered in child development

I think we need a bit more infos to give a good answer ;) 1) i think you are using java? 2) whats your programming level? 3) gaming AI or something "bigger"? 4) what should your AI do?
