[Off-Topic] What's up with SoloLearn?

Question

It just seems dead and it has for a while. I mean, besides the occasional AMA, there really isn't anything going on anymore. No coding challenges. Haven't seen an update in a while either. And I don't even need to mention the severely lacking website. Is it dying/dead? Are they planning any more updates? Are they maybe secretly working on a big update? Does anyone even have any info?

Totally my impression as well.
Users have long since started to fill all the gaps that Sololearn leaves open:
Instead of a report function that actually works, we have that 'let's stay safe' thread.
Instead of assignments we have a thread where people post their own, because if you submit officially, you'll wait for a year, and probably forever.
Mods plus volunteers have to target and delete every spammy or nonsensical question by hand, which is a huge waste of time, because there's no pre-filtering mechanism or anything.
Even SoloLearn itself abuses the app, like when they stuffed all these nonsensical assignments plus AMA into the assignment slot, where they didn't belong.
Yeah, the app looks wildly abandoned. A bit like that Airbender temple from Avatar, where everybody was dead, and other people moved in and used all the old stuff for their own purposes.

there is a new update now let's check if it fills up all the leackages, and I heard that update is coming to the web version too but I don't know specifics, but the real deal which we need is lacking

I haven't had an update so far. Wonder why only some people are getting it.
