I would say for every hour that you're at a computer screen, take at least 15-minute break and go do something else. That'll help you in many ways, including with eye strain. There are other techniques you should do as well, such as eye exercises. For example, look in diff directions for set amounts of time, look off into the distance and focus on things far away, etc... Often when we're looking at a computer we're focused on it (which is up close) and don't move our eyes around as much, those techniques will help with that end of it. Of course, get the proper amount of sleep and eat properly so that you're getting the right amount of rest and fuel for your body/eyes.

AgentSmith I don't believe I'm following any of your great tips. 🤣😂 Let's see... I might get so immersed in code, my eyes won't break contact for hours. hmmm... 🤔 I rarely have the discipline to take a break because I lose all sense of time. hmmm... 🤔 Eye exercises... hmmm... 🤔 Proper amount of sleep... 😂🤣 yeah right... what's that even mean? 🤪😴🤓 and eat properly... Ah... I do eat well... I think. 🤔 Well... At least my wife feeds me healthy foods. Yaaay! 🎉 While I might be a horrible example to follow and I've been quite blind since I was 7 years old, I am fortunate to not have experienced eye strain, back, neck, or wrist issues. These are common problems I've heard others complain about. I also have special lenses with blue light filters (or something like that which I undoubtedly spent way too much money on); I work on high quality, high resolution, large sized monitors with 60Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz screens; and I have really good posture when I sit and stand for long periods of time.

I do that break thing. Make those 15 minutes count. There's always a heap of socks to be quicksorted, or an array of type Dish to be filled with data.
