When we tag someone on comments section, but if that person change name then why it's not updating on that comments too.

The name is not change but if you still click on the name, you will go to that person’s profile even he change his name

It might not be a bug. I asked some colleagues of mine and they said that not automatically updating the name is more correct because it keeps the original message in tact. So let's say there was a pun involving the username at the time -- if the name automatically updated, no one would understand the pun.
Just offering an alternative perspective.

As long as I can rememeber, names in blue have never changed. There are comments from 2/3 years ago that have people's old name.
