Ans will be 12 , becase x*=3 means x=x*3 .

These are shorthand expression, like x=x+1 can be written x+=1, in your scenario x=x*3, 4*3=12.

x *=3 is equal to x = x * 3 So x = 4*3 . . Output: 12
