Is coding skills are necessary for hacking? Which type of code?

I think for hacking u need skills in python , SQL and java as primarily language.
Well this is based on the fact that which type of hacking are u doing. If u r hacking a website you need SQL for creating SQL injection etc.
Whereas if you are hacking something else , you need some other language

Hacking is a very broad subject and it encompasses several fields.
Network and OS knowledge are a must. With regards to coding skills, it depends on what you are trying to hack. For web, php, js, sql and python (since websites are already built with python) knowledge are necessary.
Python in general is a useful language regardless of what type of hacking you are going to do since it is primarily used to run scripts to automate things.
If you are going to reverse-engineer something, then you need to know the language used to build the program (C, c++, c#, java, python, assembly, swift, etc.).

Not at all.
Hackers are of different type.
Coder cum hacker--> who know coding and creat own script to hack...
Null hacker--> who dont know coding they use the application and framework to hack and penetrate..
