Will it be helpful to go through online tutorials or Should I focus on this app for learning Java along with some reference book

Please suggest some sites or Books from where I can practice programs as well...

I have heard people say they never did more than tutorials like the ones here + google + practice.
For me it seems to work better to learn from a good book primarily.
So there's individuality involved and you just need to figure out what helps you to make progress.

Yeah, repeating what you've learned and practicing it is absolute. You can not *just* read a book or tutorial.

Notes plus a good reference book plus practice most importantly is what I conclude is better for me...

I prefer to go back to my notes and revise them once a week and practice all the programs as much as possible... That's what I did in C... anyways Thankyou for your time.
