38 and wanting a career change

Hey guys I'm starting late in the game, but always have been interested in programming. Wanting to start learning to code. Have programmed Rasberry Pi's. Just trying to decide which way I should go forward because of the many routes you can take with coding. Looking at becoming cyber security or software dev.
