I came to wonder, is JSON something you must download like Jquery or is it built into Javascript?

json is a message exchange format similar to XML , no download required , it's a built-in JavaScript supported format , it's lightweight compared to XML

Hey ..I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but anyways here it is... I just need to bold part of a string in json ...can anybody help me with that ?...Thanks in advance!
