Hspace (horizontal space) and vspace (vertical space) are both attributes for the <img /> and <object> elements. It is used to set the space between the element and it’s surroundings. Example- <img src="images/cd.gif" hspace="10" vspace="10" width="10" height="20" />


hspace and vspace refer to the horizontal and vertical spaces respectively. These two are attributes of <img> tags and are used to add space around the image vertically or horizontally. You can specify the space in of but there's no need to do so. Example:- <IMG src="girl.png" hspace="20" vspace="20">
