SoloLearn Certificate

Today I was reading in some Forum (not important one) about certificates from Sololearn where the discussion was about if one can use them at all. Some of them said that are ok, but some of them said that are not. The discussion there is no object of this Question, but the Question it self comes because of that. Is there any reason why all certificates (or all most all) are named with "tutorial" in it? I mean if someone really need to use its certificate how does that make a difference between a good course which he\she learned here and some good or bad Internet Tutorials, if on the certificate the word Tutorial is present? I think that on the certificate should not appear the word "Tutorial" at all. I would like to expend this situation and discuss it here together with SoloLearn Team and users as well. Later Edit: This question is not about Certificate it self being good or not, it is about the mention in it. Thank you all.

I think online learning should be done mainly for the knowledge more than for the certificates.

Why do you apply a negative connotation to the word tutorial? I suppose that's the main issue of it, although it doesn't imply anything negative. Tutorial: * an account or explanation of a subject, printed or on a computer screen, intended for private study. It's suitable for what SoloLearn courses are. Ultimately, the employer is going to care more about your portfolio and what you're capable of, not what pieces of paper suggest without proper demonstration of said skills.

Dear Michael Buzgaru : We learn those course not for certificates just to take an idea.As I see the courses here don't have the all information about the programming languages.Just an overview. Please try to read the courses for information not for certificates, and keep your skills up.

AgentSmith I do not apply (I am not even trying) a "negative connotation" it is just my opinion about what I was reading today and the effect which takes place. In my country the word "Tutorial" has nothing to do with a course, even if the word course it is applied together. I think that something like "C++ fundamentals course" it looks more intresting. Whish you all the best. You are doing a great work here.

Basel Al_hajeri This wasn't for me and I really do not need this Certificates, but I was reading even here peoples asking about them. Even more on the FAQ I think there is some information about the use of them which for someone can be clearly that they can use it. Have a good day Sir.

Basel Al_hajeri The good thing is that if you learn 6-7 Curses here and you combine those information together I am pretty sure that one is no beginner anymore. 😃 Me for example I was sure that I will never need to learn swift, but seeing the Course here I decided to give it a try. Now I started to like it.😆
