Well basically, you write a program, lets call it A. A does very complicated math stuff. You give A a bunch of sample data (terabytes of data). At first A does random stuff and keeps adjusting itself, so it starts making more "logical" decisions. After training A for a long time it can deliver results for the assigned task that are highly accurate. (This is what i understood till now)
