IDE and Code Editors are two different things. IDEs are language specific while code editors are for general purpose creation and edition about codes. You may replace notepad++ with the mighty Sublime Text. Happy Coding!!

You can use Notepad ++ for writing Java files. But then you have to compile the manually. Notepad++ is not a complete IDE replacement. It's just a great editor

u can write .java files with normal notepad too lol but then need to compile it with cmd

even if you can code java using notepad. but it will be very very dauntinf task

you can use notepad to write programs
