Could you create a new method for mentioning in groups instead one after another?

Mention more than one after another (group). As some may know I try to get a 5-7 times a week Linux basic commands lesson. Now I am at #15 and due to two posts mentioning that, the followers of these posts are growing pretty fast. Now there are about 50 people who want to be mentioned when a lesson or solution is ready. I talked about this with one of your mods (I think it was Morpheus, but I'm not sure) and he said he would like to talk with other mods about my idea. For example I could create a "group-mentioning' by giving them a name like "linuxbasicsfollow", which would be great to have all of them in one click mentioned. A remove and add functionality would be a great addition and it would spend me lots of time. Now I mention everyone from this list one after another. And it's only possible to mention 10 in one post. So I hope that there will be a possibility implemented like I said or alike. So that's it. Hope for good replies :)

So feedback sent as a suggestion I copied this text and told its in Q and A. Now let's wait :D. I for myself will fall into my bed now. Thanks for the positive responses. Maybe there will be some more. Then they will probably be more likely to get some function.

Great idea! Maybe you can suggest that to SoloLearn. Send a feedback. I hope we have that in the next update!

Hatsy Rei thanks for your answer. I did not yet try to get a group chat with Everyone in it. I thought more of a better mentioning system. When I want to mention someone I type @ and the pop-up window opens to pick someone (one! ). I thought more of the same routine. Typing @, then the windows pops up but above the names are two new fields with something like "create or change your group-mentionings" and below that could be the created ones like "mention_group_linux" which would work the same way as the normal mentioning works. Just with in my example about 55 people mentioned all at once. This would just take one more add-on to this system. To add more than one to mention afterwards. And if this is possible (which I guess it should be) it would be obviously a good idea to delete and add users to this 'group'. I hope I made myself clear and did not write it unclear. Hope that some kind of feature would be added soon. That it would be helpful and save lots of time and motivation for the "mentioner" is obvious

Did you try creating a group chat with all those people added into it, and just notify them in the group or something, instead of mentioning them in the comment section of a lesson/code/thread/etc? Not against the suggestion of having group mentions or anything. Just thought this could be a "in-the-meantime" solution. Speaking of which, it could be implemented in such a way that pinging everyone in a chat group is made possible with a @everyone. Not sure how the devs are going to handle group mentions outside group chats, but I'm certain they'll figure something out, like they've always did. :>

Janning⭐ you're right. There has to be some kind of permisson. I did not think of this spamming possibility, but it would likely happen.

*Asterisk* better now thanks. I'll be looking forward to be continuing with the Linux commands in the next week. I think I will make a group chat and add everyone. Then I could everytime when I get new lessons or solutions post that code with the hyperlinks and no more mentioning at all. Plus everyone can be texting each other questions on that specific topic. I changed my OS to MX 18 yesterday. It's awesome. But I'll write more when it gets on.

I wouldn't be surprised if it became a new way for folks to get spammed, but maybe permissioned groups would be okay.
