Local storage - confused.

What does this means- "Local storage is per domain. All pages from one domain can store and access the same data."

A site is composed from multiple pages. A domain is given to the site, and only to this site, so nobody else can access it. If it is given to the site it is automatically given to all pages that site consists from. So is with local storage offered by domain. It is given to site and at the same time to all pages from it, so every page can store or access data. It is common for all, like money in a family. Someone can put them, and another take them.
