Javascript or PHP?

Question

I heard that JS is more fast than any other languages on Web but It is not recommended for large number of users. I also heard that most of the tech giants use JS. Also Facebook is made with PHP.
Now how tech giants use JS and other web technologies?

Hi, JavaScript is a client side scripting language, it's used to make web pages interactive and is used by tech Giants, on the other side PHP is a back end server sided scripting language, it handles all the stuff on servers like form inputs etc.. hope it helps. If you want to do front end go for JavaScript, jQuery, angular, node etc.. thank you
