My opinion is that demonstrable skill is worth more than paper - but it all depends where you want to work and what is their requirement. A college degree can give you a solid theoretical background, therefore I would surely recommend it, but "reputed" could mean completely different things in each country and even for each company. Oracle certificates have an "expiration" because they apply for a certain version only (e.g. you can do an exam for Java SE 8) and then as time goes by, old versions and old certificates become obsolete. In the real world I think it is much more important that you can show off your programming skill (e.g. with a portfolio of your past projects and genuine work). And there are also other factors when it comes to working as a developer (unless you go indie).. such as how well you would fit in the corporate culture, how good are you at team work, familiarity with agile/scrum methods, how well you communicate verbally and in writing, even language skills. (Disclosure: I work as an IT professional in a small company and I have 12 years experience with Oracle technology)

First be an graduate through reputed College. & ;, (entrance test for PG) Then postgraduate by selecting Whichever preferred, the most liked core subjects--electives. Alongside skill + certification.
