What do i need for a chatbot

I would like to try and make a chatbot app but I dont know if i need anything beside python, if you know how it works can you give me an example in comments and explain it, thanks

Depends on what kind of app you want to make. You'll probably need front-end programming languages like HTML/CSS/JS , JQuery ext.. Front-end programming is simply stated what the user sees when opening the app .
