I started with Java. It wasn't so hard. I would say that Java helped me to understand OOP, which is important for every developer.

Javascript... but Its not fair to compare java which is a general purpose language with javascript a scripting language. Although both language have developed and matured rapidly in the past few years.

JavaScript is much easier to learn, but I must state that JavaScript and Java have absolutely nothing in common and are 2 completely different languages, despite the name suggesting otherwise.

If you are a TOTAL noob, then Javascript is hands down easier than Java. However, if you already know some other programming language, it'll only be a matter of syntax for you, and the difficulty level of each language won't matter . in general, Javascript is easier than Java

Definitely JavaScript if you're a beginner. It's easy to visualize things and connect things with HTML and CSS. It has a newer and more modern feel and is easy to read.

Both are easy on their own environments, but i suggest you go with JS because it is there to stay. “Any application that can be written in JavaScript, will eventually be written in JavaScript.”

Try to understand what you want to do. It doesn’t matter which is harder, you should understand which you need.

In conjunction with html and css, you can easily create cross-plattform apps with javascript because it runs on the browser. therefore, javascript is easier and more flexible.

java is much harder to understand and do anything useful with. Person person = new Person(); Trust me, it took forever for me to understand this.

Js is easier because you only need basic knowledge of both HTML and CSS, why Java requires you to have pre-existing previous programming knowledge especially in OOP(Object-Oriented Programming).

@Mastanvali To answer this answer need compare a High-level Programming language with a Scripting language. There is no point in comparing them. I can suggest you.. Learn the things based on your interest not by complex level. ☺️
