How to easily draw and extract svg code?

Question

Hey, i was working on making a SVG drawing but i have decided that creating paths seems to be very time consuming.
Im wondering if theres a app or a website were i can create my own digital drawing by using a drawing pad and extracting the path code for it to put inside the html document so i can edit the code and animate.

Not sure about online, I use Inkscape on Linux or Windows. I've also used adobe illustrate but that requires a license. You can create the svg through the UI then just open the file in any text editor to edit it that way.
