Home assistant command recognition

I would like to make my own google home style home assistant. At the moment i’m laying out the basic code but how do I make it understand a command? If I was to ask the time i could say: Time What’s the time What is the time Tell me the time That’s not even accounting for capitals, is there a way to make it understand multiple commands that do the same thing? (Aside from about a million or statements)

but some people might react differently like taking a challenge, and its all going back on how the person learned about that topic. i was learn this topic at class and yeah ._. thats my thought. just dont trust people on how easy or complicated things is, just try it. what's hard for certain people to learn could be easy for you. back on the topic, i cant remember any but i did found a good one years ago, with clean step by step from creating a bot to understand a word to sentence(probably outdated, but its easy to understand). you should search a topic for chatterbot, its the closest one by your need.

Taste Never add the words "complicated/complex etc" before task. It looses your confidence towards that task.

The time I used to add words like "complicated/complex..." I felt the JAVA LANGUAGE so complex that you can't imagine. Later I saw a saying that "Java is not so hard so as it seems". This sentence inspired me such that I learned java very easily due to confidence. Now Java is easy for me. And I want to learn more on Java. SO, Never think everything complicated. You feel it what you think it is. Got it ?

so you want to make one yourself ? its pretty complicated, but it based on AI to recognize a command, once you code done and your AI are ablr to understand a command, you need to train them bunch of different command and what action that should be done
