Can a usb flash drive act as an blogs webserver ? Also do I need to have a pc always connected to the internet to have it ?

I plan to create a website for my school using HTML , CSS , MySQL at a later stage to create a functioning website. When I leave school I would like it to be easily useable by others who have little to no programming knowledge. If you are experienced in that field , please share some advice to me if you are willing to . Thanks in advance

The usb flash drive cannot act as a webserver on its own. You will need a computer to connect the usb drive to it and the computer to a network either by wifi or network cable. For this aim you do not need to use a fullscale PC. You could also use a Raspberry Pi. The advantage is that Raspberry Pi does need very little energy to operate, i.e. typically 3W instead of several 100W if you use a desktop computer. You should keep in mind that you would have to install and administrate a webserver software like apache or nginx.

The USB flash drive must be connected to the PC all the time and you need a permant internet connection so that everytime somebody can have reading-access to your website.

If i did decide to use that route , would the USB need to be connected to a PC with a constant internet connection at all times ? Also is there any other way to contact people like messaging them because you really sound like you know exactly what to do 😅
