I want to become a programmer when I am about 70 in case I don't have enough savings to pay for my healthcare by then. I also want to do it then as a social activity to be able to hang out with other bots and AI who would be doing most of the programming jobs by then.

I'm already older, but I guess I only discovered late how fun programming seems to be. When I started working at a software company, and I looked at the developers and thought "their job looks much more fun than mine". I think I could really enjoy a programming job much more than any of the jobs I had until now. I'm just not sure if it's realistic to make the switch now that I'm already all grown up.
