Tips for a beginner?

Hi I’m completely new to coding and I see there’s much to learn. Can someone give me a starting point and kind of branch where I should go from there? Thank you

Hey! Welcome! You made a good choice with Sololearn. Alright, so I started with HTML and CSS to get a grasp on what coding will be like, and now I am doing an OOP language, Python (OOP is Object Oriented Prgramming). Python is a great start for beginners if you want to jump straight into programming. If you dont, then i recommend HTML and CSS. Happy Coding :)

Depends on what you want to do: HTML and CSS are almost a given. I'd get familiar with SQL next as databases are EVERYWHERE! Then look at Java, PHP or Python. JavaScript may be a good starter programming language too

Learn the basics of the programming first and try to build some own programs, web application,pages,etc..... All languages require strong foundation. don't struck with single program if you love a programming language then have some ideas and build some projects in your interested language.

learn to control your machine on the command line first before learning all these other languages. it is simple to learn and comes in handy when you want to automate tasks, it is the most accessible, and you will learn all the basic control structures such as forloops and if statements. finally, every good developer at some point has to use it, so you might as well learn it first.
