Centering Issues

The <center> tag is deprecated. The mask at the bottom already looks centered on my mobile. In: <a href= https://withaterriblefate.com/ id=link> <img src=https://www.wiisworld.com/images/news/majorasmask.jpg> <span style="cursor:pointer;"> </span></a> What is the span for?
