Is PHP the best language?

In China,I often hear people say PHP is the best language,I want to know why! 🤔ILLUSTRATION:I am a java programmer.

I'm quite confident that the answer is no.
but as usual truth is in the middle.
Although there are better alternatives for server side scripting, the enormus amount of documentation available on PHP, makes it a more confortable first step for beginners.
