What are the most important certifications I should get and the best provider?

I do six different languages. If I want one or two certifications which ones should I get? Certifications can be expensive. I thought it would help me when looking for a job. I’m mainly full stack web developer but I’m pretty much into everything related to programming.

My suggestion is to take java OCA( Oracle Certified Associate), OCP ( Oracle Certified Professional) , OCE ( Oracle Certified Expert)..you can also sit for the Oracle Databse Certification)..with these certificates, you can work in any international recognized IT companies....these certificates prove that you are already equipped with all the basic things and some experiences and ready to be employed in international IT community.. .

i agree Manish Rath... actually, i dont work as a programmer or develepoer, but i have some friends in this area... and here, in Brazil, all of them focus in their skills and knowledge, not in certifications... the certifications seems to be 8more important when you ask for jobs in big enterpreses or in other countries, when the employer cannot test you directly, because of the distance ou because there are too much candidates to interview (they need to do previous selection)

If you really want to talk certifications a degree from say TAD Technology, Brown Mackie, or a primary / secondary education department certified by your providence or statehood will go further than one from Udemy, Sololearn, or somewhere as they are not governed the same ~ When I did most of my early Microsoft training it was through ECPI electronic computer programming institute ~ which at the time was the leading place to get an academic recognition short of the votech schools of their time ~ which then was based on certified hours of classroom training. Today may be different but honestly the classroom skills should prepare you for real world applications in languages and the scientific technologies you face today...

once you are in a company ask around amongst co~workers and peers, ask supervisors their opinion and what if any certification is best that they found beneficial in their success.

nowadays certification weightage is very less....if you want a job in good IT company try to improve your coding skills stronger...if your logics are good then no need of any certificate

Hello, if it's about getting a software development job, you really don't need certification. The most important thing is what you can do. Lay your hands on projects. Most organisations want people who can deliver. My husband got an international job in UK even while we were still in our country without any certification. He has several projects he has worked on and that's the basis. Uncountable top ranked IT organizations are requesting for him to leave where he is working now to come and work with them

Yes Oluwaseun that does happen to those of us who show an aggressive ability and on more than one occasion my paper trail was not important but when you start dealing with the fortune 500 and above they like a paper portfolio in their desk.
