react native js build android and iOS apps but most effective way to build for both iOS and android is use mac, because you will need xcode and andriod studio and I use visual code to write react and android studio to run emulator to see app design while I'm building the app same goes to xcode. also I installed node js and brew or yarn on windows and you will need java se development and java runtime packages and u can build apps for both platforms also you need react knowledge.

Abdulkareem Fallaha react native is used for making small scale apps. it's difficult to manage to build high scalable apps using reactnative for a single person.
