Back end programming

i'm asking if in a beck end development i have to use a server side programming language or a framework with a database like sql or can i just use one of them?

Python is usually best for server side hard coding and scripting.

it's not necessary, but yet again, if you want to make something serious you'll need a database

what do you mean? SQL is not necessary for PHP to work, but why?

Anthony of course, however when a comment is primarily opinion-based it would be nice to leave a note about that, especially for technical forums like this, just because a simple opinion might be an absolute truth for a beginner.
Of course, you don't have to, this is just what i would do.

Maz That is true but we dont need to get too technical especially for a absolute beginner. but i do see your point though for a platform like this.
