In the Swift editor, will we be able to import the Foundation framework any time soon?

It’ll open up a lot of possibilities that are currently unavailable to us at the moment.

if said framework involves any GUI elements, then no that likely will not be possible in the near future.

It's not an GUI element, only a framework. It's available in simmilar apps, that shares the same limitations.
