Leaderboard is the ranking system based on XP (experience points) of the user.

There are three tabs in the leaderboard section, first is comprised of the people you follow, second is local (your country) and the third is global.

It's an option in the triple dot menu in the app version. You can compare your ranking geopolitically and by timeframe.
