Want to learn mobile and PC game development from scratch as a self taught.

Question

Please i need to know all the steps that i have to know or learn in other to achieve this dream as a selftaught. By what and where should i start ?? how long it will take me to achieve it ??
Take into consideration that i have basics in web development .

1. Learn language:
C++, java, python or another
language that you like.
2. Go into Graphics:
OpenGL or DirectX are
popular.
3. Practise:
Make small projects and
improve your skills.
4. Learn input and Audio:
A must have for all games.
5. Don't give up!:

in my opinion, i think Blender3d will be super great for you, it has all the 3d tools for making games,animations,3d simulations etc........and the best part of it is that its written in python(i think you should learn python if you haven't, you will practically be able to crawl your way into almost every sector that requires programming
) and its open source, you can practically see every single block of code that makes it awesome and also it has a large community of awesome programmers and materials to get you started in no time......Blender will probably take you about a year to become a pro(not meant to discourage you) at using it.

Start using scratch software and them upgrade to unity.
Unity can do both computer and android
