Graphical games with C++

Question

At the moment I am learning C/C++.
I want to make games but no matter how much I love it, Python's speed is well, slow because its managed. I've made some okay games in python though and I dont mind pygame as it taught me how a somewhat game works.
I was wondering if there are any resources or threads on sololearn (I can't find any) that will help me in the same way some resources that teach python use pygame as a way to teach the language?
I'm still learning C/C++ so this is mainly for after I'm confident with the language.
