Does Sololearn ever delete any courses?

I vaguely remember checking out Sololearn for the first time around 2015 and seeing some courses like photography and makeup. But now this is only a coding site. Can anyone verify my memory? And does this site retire any courses from time to time?

Yes. Sololearn removed the Non programming-related courses like the Photography, MS Excel ones.

hinanawi I am talking about 2015 before your time. If anyone used Slololearn in 2015 or earlier and can verify my recollection that would be great.

Use The Wayback Machine (archive.org) for questions like "I wonder what site <x> was like in year <y>?" https://web.archive.org/web/20141126110913/http://www.sololearn.com:80/courses/

It seems you can still download them from sites like this: https://www.apkmonk.com/app/com.sololearn.excel/ I don't know if it is save and I don't know if it will work.

There have always been 12 courses so far since I joined SoloLearn, so I would say no. Besides, SoloLearn would need a good motive to delete a course of theirs, such as it being too buggy or filled with misinformation.

When I first learned programming I started with C++ (I decided to learn it because it was the first thing I saw) using SL and Im pretty sure there were other courses like photoshop. They probably deleted it because they only wanted to focus on coding.

well i'm just saying that nobody's mentioned these courses and they don't fit on the website so i'm just logically assuming they weren't there

I don't think they delete any course, ya but they do upgrade the contents as per the requirements and technological change.
