Do I get level up any when one of my codes gets upvoted?

XP for each upvote is given only in one case: when users upvote your answer, marked as best.
In other cases, you get XP not for upvotes themselves, but for badges. Here is the information:

I believe you get XP for each upvote (code, posts, etc..) As well, there are achievements/badges that you get at certain points (5 upvotes, etc..), which I believe give burst XP when it happens.
