Any good resources for working with sql databases using php?

Hello. I want to ask if anybody knows any good webpage or pdf document teaching how to work with sql database using php. I made a nice html/js webpage project and I need database to store data. I already have some basic knowlage about php and sql, but I an not good at putting these two things together. Thanks or any reply.

I learnt it from a friend of mine there are two ways to do it by the way
