Could not agree more, default android calculators are crap, I want a scientific calculator as well.

but what you are looking for is a computer algebra system(short cas) for you mobile phone. maybe this helps you to find other useful apps

because its not really a calculator but you can write your equations or whatever in there and it will show you the zeros, derivative and integral and other information and if you need a step by step solution it will show it to you when you have the app. but if you can‘t make it work because you can‘t input precise instructions its not worth it to buy it
