What really makes Android games?

What programming languages are used to develop Android games? Note: I mean games, not Apps. I know that Java is the number 1 Android app developer's language. But I recently played this game called FTS 15(First Touch Soccer 2015). And it was developed by AndroPalace.NET I thought it was C# since I saw ".NET"; Please what do you guys think ?

You can also write a 2D game with java in Android without using a Game engine like Unity, but Unity or other game engines for Android is actually an Engine. Also I think Kotlin is the base for Unity. (I'm not sure).

If you need a GDX Game, then Java is the best idea. I also used Java for developing my android app and games. You can download them through the links given in the below web code. https://code.sololearn.com/WBWEEB4xJcE8/?ref=app
