Anyone who works with programming can tell me what the area is like and how much do they pay?

The interest is to know about someone who works with this in Brazil, and also in other countries.

It depends on the current market in California where i am located for example. They pay the highest in terms of starting salaries for programmers. Junior programmers range 70k-90k Mid level programmers range 100k-150k And Senior programmers ranges 250k+ But experience also comes into play and whatever technology stacks you know other than programming languages. For other states i am not sure.

Don't mind me (don't mean to intrude), just wanted to add this to the next salary Q&A. Similarly to how it's meant with age, salary's just a number. Making decisions on the number needs cost of living data, ideally down to the city level. Compare Brasilia, BR to SF, CA, USA: https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=Brazil&country2=United+States&city1=Brasilia&city2=San+Francisco%2C+CA Cost comparisons include groceries, utilities, transportation, rent, ... stuff that helps you evaluate if a remote salary will support your standard of living as you understand it at home. Main: https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/ Quotes: 29,181.62R$ (7,851.49$) in San Francisco, CA [is] the same standard of life that you can have with 9,000.00R$ in Brasilia...(>3x diff) SF vs Brasilia: Consumer Prices 107.61% higher CP+Rent: 224.24% higher Rent 636.27% higher Restaurants 108.88% higher Groceries 179.99% higher Local Purchasing Power 99.62% higher

I'm in an internship as both designer/web developer in italy, the web agency is reaaally small for now, they'd like to hire me initially as a part-timer for 500€/m 😅 Certainly not what you'd expect for such job but I'll take this as an opportunity to jump from amateur to professional 😀
