Why drop the html et. al.

Why has the sequencing stopped? We’ve been building up in each lesson - starting each code with <html> and so on. Why just show only this portion of the code? Is it not required in order to have the result shown? T h a n k s !

It's for brevity, Bradford. Questions would be too long with it listed every single time, and since we all know it's supposed to be there, we don't need to write it every time for every quiz question. Hope that helps. Cheers.

Bradford Yes, the code playground can still show html that is encoded improperly.

It just seems inconsistent to be on lesson four and the code in the playground only focuses on the single code just learned. Incorporating the new material into the code that we’ve been building upon in the playground has been a critical part of learning in this app. I would even say its the cornerstone of the app’s success. I think the assumption that we all know what code should be there is not beneficial to any learner. I understand the heuristic design of this app but that doesnt have anything to do with inconsistency.

You should submit feedback to the devs using the feedback form, and suggest this to them. They might look into it. Cheers! :)
