Has anyone taken the exam 70-483 lately?

There's a new version of Exam Ref 70-483 Programming in C# (MCSD) this year. But I've been studying with the first edition. Should i upgrade or can I continue using the first edition?

I don't have either book, but it looks like you can see what's changed on the exam here / download the Exam 483 change document from: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/exam-70-483.aspx Review the "tracked changes" (anything in color, basically) effective Dec 2017. Most of the changes look like expansions to me (like, not just exceptions in general but now you need to know them specifically, same with the types) but there are a few updates that appear to be more interesting (COM API, async libraries, etc) Reading the book description: "...Second Edition...reflects all updated exam topics... through mid-2017." -- I think that's the above. Unfortunately I don't know if you'll benefit more from studying those topics separately or not (i.e., without the book) but hopefully this helps you evaluate.
