Beginner Ideas?

I'm a beginner in programming. Despite technically "knowing" Java, some HTML & C# I'm having difficulties in terms of learning. i have trouble truly understanding (memorizing??using??) enough to code. It's like I know it but I don't, honestly. Any solutions on breaking through this and start coding daily? I often have trouble with ideas or understanding how to take the idea and put it into the code itself. Hope this wasn't a stupid question hahah, thanks !

There is an app on Android store (maybe other stores too) called Idea Bag - this has lots of suggestions for projects which is helpful to start on. On the other hand look for interview practice questions, maybe for graduate developer level roles. These tend to be fairly small tasks that allow you to demonstrate understanding in some basic areas of coding with a language. Anything you don't know, search Google or ask here, which will help fill in the gaps in your knowledge and get you practicing!

coding daily is a solution actually. I mean, how can you become good if you do not practice long enough? You will run in a lot of trouble, but we are here to help you, and If you do not know how to break an idea and code it, you can always ask here and we are all ready to help. All the things that you "cannot memorize or use" will vanish after you practice for a while, I promise

No problem! Happy coding then! And do not be afraid to write code, there is no barrier other than this in your head!
