Well, if you're scared, then it's better to give up and hide from your fears. That's the natural means of dealing with it. However, if it's what you want, then you need to go against your nature and engage into it head on. Look at the amazing world all around you, think about if other humans did nothing because it was going to be hard or because they were scared. See what I mean? Let me put it like this. Is English your first language? If not, did you magically learn it or did you have to put in a LOT of hard work & effort in order to manifest your ability to speak/write/understand it? I imagine you busted your ass grinding on it every day until you became amazing at it like you are right now. You didn't care that it was hard, you engaged into it and you did it, now look at you? You have an amazing skill and reaped the benefits of your labor. Do the exact same thing with everything in your life that you want or love, you'll reap the benefits of your labor. So ask yourself, how badly do you want this? If you want it bad enough, it doesn't matter how difficult it is or what's standing in your way, you'll obtain what you want. As they say, the Universe (or God, whatever label you prefer) doesn't place brick walls in front of us to keep us out, but to keep out those who don't want it badly enough. Best of luck! Don't base things that you do in life on its difficult or you'll ALWAYS seek the easy route for everything. The easy route doesn't always take you to your destination and the easy route isn't always the best means to an end.

You could start with learning or just watching some tutorials related to penitration testing, network security, ethical hacking, just programming e.t.c. And experimenting with all these stuff will be the best motivation to go further and overcome your fears.
