Seeing the advancement in AI, Will AI replace developers in upcoming decades???

In 2015 Andrej Karpathy, now director of AI at Tesla and a Stanford Computer Science Ph.D. student, used Recurrent Neural Networks to generate code. He took a Linux repository (all the source files and headers files), combined it into one giant document (it was more than 400 MB of code) and trained the RNN with this code. He left it running for the night. In the morning, he got Code generated by Artificial Intelligence, which was almost 99% correct and logical.

It can but not anytime soon... Like how people thought airplanes, cars, T.V.s, Smart phones were impossible; they were proved wrong. Decades later; maybe even way after their deaths. IDK if you knew, but we are now able to manipulate DNA to create "custom humans." Its new, not 100% clear, but wont be used anytime soon. Also nearly 80% of companies will need this technology to replace devs, and not many are willing to spend their money on a competitor's product. Dont be scared, but dont keep your guard down either ;)

Probably within the 21st century. AI will take over almost any job. Nobody's safe.
