Algebra and what other math skills are required and essential for software developer??

could you guys recommend me some literature about math and where to start from??

programmers aren't always Geeks in maths but some basic knowledge on maths is a must for software developers.I guess the basics maths taught in your school like algebra, linear equation will do the job but sometime you will have to learn some new topics. so always keep your mind open.
