To some extent -- yes. You can write algorithmic routines based on statistical models (which what AI *is* in the first place) in almost any language.
Python has already a vast collection of machine learning and deep learning-oriented libraries, but AI agorithms may be created also in Ruby, JavaScript, Java or C++ -- or any other.
