Web developing important technologies

Question

I am a web developer with skills HTML CSS javascript jQuery bootstrap wordpress php sql
what should I learn more or what is more important to learn now
laravel , nodejs , ...etc?

There is no right path to take. Only what you need to use for your projects. There are many who will tell you to learn PHP well because it has a big community on its back and a lot of years on the market (Wordpress, Facebook, etc) there are others who will tell you to learn AngularJs because it is the new biggest thing to build SPA or Single Page Applications. You could even learn React or NodeJs which seems like a good choise since JavaScript is the most popular language right now (if l'm not mistaken).

The same thing happens with program paradigms: which one is the best to learn ? functional, procedural, object oriented maybe ? it depens on what you need. The best things for you to do it's to get know them all and then you can make the right choise based on what you need.

Of course, it is always a good idea to take the opinion of someone with more experience on the field. But, the best thing you could it's to read about their differences and purposes. That's why we also have several design patterns for every problem.

A little advice: don't use frameworks just because you can, try to learn how they work instead. It will help you a lot more further down the track. It's like using jQuery to change the style of an element, you could say that is like killing an insect with a gun since you can do the same with plain JavaScript.

That's a pretty good base for now. I wouldn't worry about learning new languages, but rather expanding your knowledge on the ones you mentioned above.
