Coding and SEO

Hey, i read somewhere that using Jquery increases seo of a website. Hence , im thinking of using jquery over js , is this a good idea or no?

Both things have no direct relationship, as far as I know. In any case, JQuery can help you implement practices that help you improve SEO. Well, I cannot say much about the SEO part as I do not know. However, I use jQuery more than I use JS synthax because I find it simpler and more straightforward. And that alone is enough for me to choose jQuery over regular JS, most of the time
